The Tool Retention System is non magnetic (so no worries over de magnetized credit cards or pieces sliding around) and non sticky (no adhesive residue here). The tool retention system was designed to give the grip you would expect from adhesive, or rare earth magnets without the sticky residue or de-magnetized credit cards or mess they could create.
